About UsTauranga Vets has been helping keep the animals in the Bay of Plenty healthy since the first veterinary service was introduced in the early 1940’s. Tauranga Vets is a community focused practice that provides veterinary care for household, lifestyle and production animals. Tauranga Vets has three clinics within the Bay of Plenty, with branches at Tauranga, Te Puna and Katikati. We have a team of seven experienced veterinarians and eight veterinary nurses/support staff, with a range of special interests from feline and canine medicine, orthopaedics, dairy herd management including mastitis consultancy, reproduction(in-calf training) and nutrition, lamb production, heifer grazing, alpaca medicine, deer herd medicine, and preventative equine parasite management and health care.
